Julianne Kelly-Horner

Overview

Julianne Kelly-Horner represents clients in employment related disputes including claims for wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Ms. Horner also provides employers with advice, counseling, and training to help reduce employment practice claims.

Before joining LBBK, Julianne was a senior attorney with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, with a focus on employment and labor law practice.

While attending law school, Julianne served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Janis L. Sammartino in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. She also served as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Division, and the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Julianne graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was a recipient of the Faculty Honors Scholarship, recipient of the Pro Bono Service Recognition Award, member of the Order of the Coif, and two-time recipient of the CALI Award for highest grade. In 2011, Julianne graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University summa cum laude with a degree in literature and writing.

Outside of her law practice, Julianne enjoys visiting the zoo and exploring beaches with her husband and rambunctious toddler.
