Ms. Hoyt represents employers in all types of labor and employment claims, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and disability-related claims. She has extensive experience defending employers and their insurers in a variety of workers’ compensation claims, including serious and willful misconduct claims, and Labor Code section 132a discrimination claims. She also provides advice to employers on a range of employment-related issues, including hiring, promotion, discipline, termination, leaves of absence, and employment policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Lagasse Branch Bell + Kinkead, Ms. Hoyt was an associate at a firm specializing in the defense of employers and their insurers in a variety of workers’ compensation claims.
Outside of her law practice, Ms. Hoyt enjoys hiking, yoga, and playing with her dog.
