Overview
Ms. Besser represents California employers in the defense of class, representative and collective actions in state and federal court, including California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and all types of wage and hour claims. She also defends California employers in individual employment actions, such as wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and whistle blower actions. She assists employer clients with complying with California labor laws, including drafting and implementing employer policies and practices.
Ms. Besser received the Southern California Super Lawyer, Rising Star award in 2018, and while in law school, she completed a Judicial Externship with United States District Court Magistrate, William McCurine, Jr.
Outside of her law practice, Ms. Besser enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, and going to the beach with her husband and children.
