Michelle Gonzalez represents clients in employment related disputes including claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, and retaliation. Michelle also defends employers against wage and hour claims, including class action and representative claims under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). Before joining LBBK, Michelle was a litigation associate at a national full-service firm and has extensive experience representing and advising clients at all stages of litigation.
During law school, Michelle focused on pro bono work. Michelle volunteered at Public Counsel, the nation’s largest pro-bono law firm, where she facilitated adoptions and ensured adoptive parents had the proper support and funding for their child. Michelle also volunteered with the Young Lawyers Program where she mentored high school students who aspired to become attorneys.
Outside of her law practice, Michelle enjoys trying new restaurants, paddle boarding, and spending time with her dog, Taco.
