Shelby Craven

Overview

Shelby Craven focuses her practice on defending clients in employment litigation matters in federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Her experience includes representing employers who are sued for harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and other employment-related issues. Shelby understands that each client has different objectives in dealing with employment matters, and takes the time to learn about her clients’ industries and business needs in order to obtain results that advance their goals. She works closely with in-house counsel, human resources officials, and company executives at every stage of litigation to develop and implement defense strategies tailored toward resolution or disposition.

Prior to joining LBBK, Shelby was an associate in the litigation department of a national full-service firm. She previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Cynthia A. Bashant in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and clerked for the Superior Court Division of the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office.

Outside of her law practice, Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband, watching sports, and soaking in all San Diego has to offer.
