Ara Baghdassarian

Overview

Mr. Baghdassarian is a partner in the Tort and Professional Liability Practice Groups. Mr. Baghdassarian specializes in the areas of general civil litigation and professional liability. His professional liability practice includes the representation of a variety of professionals, including design professionals, real estate agents and brokers, accountants, and insurance professionals. Mr. Baghdassarian also defends the firm’s institutional clients in a variety of tort liability claims, including personal injury, wrongful death and catastrophic loss claims arising from construction site accidents, residential fires, slip and falls, and serious motor vehicle accidents. Furthermore, Mr. Baghdassarian represents clients in a variety of real estate transactions and oversees virtually all aspects of such transactions, including reviewing, negotiating, and preparing purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, lease agreements, and other related contracts. 

Prior to joining Lagasse Branch Bell + Kinkead, Mr. Baghdassarian worked in a retail, restaurant, and hospitality litigation practice group at a prominent national law firm, representing and counseling companies across a broad range of industries, including retail stores, entertainment venues, security companies, and restaurants, and defending matters involving premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury.

During law school, Mr. Baghdassarian served as a judicial extern for Honorable Philip S. Gutierrez in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Outside of LBBK, Mr. Baghdassarian enjoys spending time with his family and is a passionate Lakers fan. His love for the Rams has recently been renewed now that they have returned to his great hometown.
