Cary A. Kinkead

Overview

Cary A. Kinkead is a partner at Lagasse Branch Bell + Kinkead and focuses his practice on employment litigation and counseling, professional liability defense, personal injury defense, and business litigation and counseling. Mr. Kinkead’s employment practice includes defending employers in a variety of legal claims including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour matters. He also regularly counsels employers regarding numerous issues, including disciplinary actions, wage and hour issues, and best practices. Mr. Kinkead also represents professionals in the fields of real estate, engineering and design, accounting, and insurance. His business clients range from small local establishments to multi-million-dollar national companies.

From 2014 to 2020, Mr. Kinkead has been voted by his peers annually to be included on the list of Southern California Super Lawyers, an award that recognizes the top 5% of California attorneys. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997 from Santa Clara University, where he was a proud member of the Division I baseball team. He earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and was a member of both the legal honors society and environmental law society.

Mr. Kinkead is admitted to practice before all California state and federal courts. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and SurfAid International.
