Patrick Glinka

Overview

Patrick J. Glinka is a Senior Counsel in the Los Angeles office of Lagasse, Branch, Bell + Kinkead. He is an accomplished trial attorney with significant experience in high-value tort litigation. Mr. Glinka’s practice focuses on General Liability & Torts, Product Liability, and Professional Liability.

Mr. Glinka is a skilled negotiator and a concise, persuasive advocate adept at managing a dynamic and demanding caseload. He has successfully defended clients in a wide range of matters, including high-exposure wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits. He has taken multiple jury trials to verdict as first-chair counsel.

Before joining LBBK, Mr. Glinka served as senior counsel at a Southern California law firm, where he defended third-party claims against property owners, security companies, construction companies, and ride-share and delivery drivers. Previously, he was senior litigation counsel representing Fortune 500 companies in products liability litigation and served as national discovery liaison counsel for multi-jurisdictional litigation. Earlier in his career on the East Coast, Mr. Glinka was trial counsel for a regional amusement park in Connecticut, managed a firm’s toxic tort practice group, coordinated the multi-jurisdictional representation of corporations in asbestos-related litigation, and represented a variety of professionals—including attorneys, healthcare providers, and realtors—in liability lawsuits.

Mr. Glinka earned his Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of his class. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mr. Glinka is admitted to practice in California, Massachusetts (inactive), and Connecticut (inactive).
