Peter Biedenweg

Overview

Mr. Biedenweg is an associate in the Tort and Professional Liability Practice Groups.

A member of the California State Bar, he earned his J.D. from the University of Nebraska and his B.A. from Cornell University.

During law school, Mr. Biedenweg gained hands-on experience defending free speech through the University of Nebraska’s First Amendment Clinic. While there, he defended clients’ constitutional rights and authored an amici brief on the true threats doctrine for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also worked for Civic Nebraska, a non-profit that successfully litigated for the restoration of voting rights for released felons.

Before law school, Mr. Biedenweg was a legal assistant at a civil litigation firm, managing cases for landowners opposing the Keystone XL Pipeline and preparing multiple cases for trial.

Outside of work, Mr. Biedenweg is an avid soccer player and fan, enjoys reading, and stays active. He also remains engaged in politics, having worked for Congresswoman Anna Eshoo, Congressman Ted Lieu, and Senator Dianne Feinstein.
