Sarah Zuspan

Overview

Ms. Zuspan is an associate in the Tort and Professional Liability Practice Groups in the firm’s San Diego office. Her practice focuses on defending public and private entities against a variety of personal injury claims, including premises liability, commercial auto, construction site accidents, and wrongful death claims, where she works to understand her clients’ unique needs, enabling her to provide practical legal guidance. Ms. Zuspan has always had a passion for helping business owners navigate challenges and protect what they have built. Her background in business and human resources, combined with her legal education and experience, gives her a well-rounded perspective when working with clients and understanding the business consideration that often accompany legal disputes.

Originally from Kansas, Ms. Zuspan earned her bachelor’s degrees from Kansas State University, where she studied General Management and Human Resource Management. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, where she developed a particular interest in trademark law.

Outside of work, Ms. Zuspan enjoys staying active through Pilates, playing sand volleyball, and walking her yellow labrador, Sailor.
