Sergio Chaidez

Overview

Sergio G. Chaidez is a senior associate in the General Liability/Professional Liability Practice Group.  He represents private and public entities in matters involving negligence, wrongful death, premises liability, and professional negligence. He has assisted in preparing multiple matters for trial that resulted in favorable outcomes for his clients. Mr. Chaidez has also successfully participated in several non-jury trials involving alleged racial and sexual discrimination, real estate, and contractual disputes. He has also authored and argued multiple successful motions for summary judgment and appellate briefs.  Before joining LBBK, Mr. Chaidez worked extensively with public school districts in matters involving allegations of sexual assault of minors, wrongful deaths, and other injuries to students on and off campus.

Mr. Chaidez obtained his J.D. from UC Hastings, College of the Law, in 2013, where he served on the Business Law Journal and worked in the Legal Writing and Research Department.  He obtained his B.A. from Long Beach State University in 2008, where he graduated with honors.

Away from the office, Mr. Chaidez enjoys camping, music, and spending time with his family and pets.
