Stacy M. Dooley

Overview

Stacy Dooley specializes in the defense of serious personal injury cases, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and other catastrophic loss claims.  Before joining LBBK, Ms. Dooley represented the State of California, Department of Transportation, concentrating on significant dangerous condition of public property tort cases.  She also has experience defending construction delay and disruption claims with complex contractual components. 

Ms. Dooley has multiple successful results in summary judgment motions and appeals and is also skilled at facilitating resolution outside of litigation. If a case cannot be resolved outside of court, Ms. Dooley will go to battle against the best personal injury attorneys in California and has experience trying multi-million-dollar personal injury cases to verdict. At trial, Ms. Dooley commits herself to achieving justice for her defense clients by skillfully pursuing all defenses and deploying creative approaches to arguing damages to a jury. 

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Dooley taught high school world history and economics. She also mentors law students as an adjunct professor for the Skills Training, Ethical Practice, and Professional Satisfaction (STEPPS) program at California Western School of Law. 

Outside of her practice, Ms. Dooley can be found with her husband and daughter exploring state and national parks, tending to their large backyard garden, and visiting new restaurants and breweries around southern California.
